Babysitting Kiddos

Eleven years ago yesterday, on a day that looked a lot like yesterday, Kyle and Kat (my brother and sister-in-law) got married in the Idaho Falls, Idaho LDS Temple.
Briant and I offered to watch their kids yesterday so they could have some time to themselves for their anniversary. I love their kids, they are so cute! They have three;
Ashley(6) just lost a bunch of teeth, and has several more that are loose. She is in Kindergarten and quite the big sister!
Kaitlyn(4) is getting so big! She is talking so much more and using much bigger words than I remember. It was kinda funny, she claimed she had to go to the bathroom a couple times during dinner, but I think she just didn't want to eat her potato.
Kamryne(11&1/2 months). Kami started walking not to long ago, and she stayed really busy the whole time. Always something to play with at our house, especially since our house really isn't baby proofed. No worries, I watched her like a hawk so she didn't get into anything she shouldn't play with. We had a blast with them!
They played hide and seek in our basement with Briant. The girls had to put on their coats because we don't heat our basement. Then, the piggy back rides started.
They were having so much fun with Briant while I was taking pictures and video. That didn't last long, they were having all the fun, I had to jump in. All the while, Kami was sitting in her chair loving her apple.

We had a snack because the horses were dead, watched Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (personally I think Hershey's chocolate is the best), and played with each others hair.

We had so much fun! I've always had fun with kids. I don't babysit very often, but I still love it. I have a great appreciation for mothers. They really do a lot! I mostly see the playing part, but there is more to it than that, like cleaning and laundry and SO much more! Wow! Thanks Mom! And good job to all you mothers out there. Thanks K & K for letting us play/watch your kids! Really it's been too long, they are growing up too fast!

What a fun aunt and uncle you guys are! It was so fun to watch that video of you all playing together. I love the pictures on your wall of Christ and the temple and I assume the Family proclamation. What a beautiful tribute to what matters most! I don't know why I haven't been to your blog before. I love it... especially the picture at the top!
