Easter Party with Kelley Kids

The Kelley Kids always has fun parties!  I was in charge of all the parties and activities last year.... by myself!  It was a lot of work!  At the beginning of this year we switched leadership and this years team has really been doing a great job!  The Easter Party was awesome!!!  They had a big bunny and everything!

This was the highlight of the party for
Andrew for sure!  He was so excited when he
saw him and ran up and gave him a big hug!

All the kids with the bunny.

They gave Andrew a fun little bucket full of
goodies and prizes.  He loved it!
I have to say, he wasn't too interested in the egg hunt.  The look on his face told us he thought it was a chore.  It's like he wanted to say, "I didn't scatter all these eggs everywhere... you pick them up!" Once his bucket was full he said, "Mom it's full, I'm done."
Eating and picking up eggs.

After a while I emptied his bucket and sent him
out again.  It took a little encouragement, but
he seemed to get a little more excited the second time.

I'm really going to miss the Kelley Kids and all the fun we have together!  It's really been one of the things here that has made all the difference for us!

My Big Brothers Wedding

I know this is really late.  But I have been inspired to be a little better at blogging (other than Mobile Moments) even if it is just a little bit.

At the beginning of April we were able to fly out to Utah for my oldest brother's wedding.  They were very considerate of my condition (shouldn't fly after 36 weeks pregnant) when they made the date. I was so excited for an excuse to spend time with my family, and it was nice too that they were all in the same place at the same time!  I was super bummed thought that I caught a terrible cold the week before the wedding.  I got a bronchitis kind of deep cough, plugged ears, and no taste for the duration of the two weeks following.  Thankfully I went to the doctor a few days before we flew and she prescribed me a Z-pak.  That helped so much and I was at least able to pop my ears on the plane (somewhat).

One of my favorite parts of the weekend was getting to see Andrew play with his cousins.  We stayed with my brother Devin and his family, and Andrew and Nick got to play together a lot!  They are the best of buds.  I hope it stays that way for many generations.  I'm sure glad he has a cousin his age. I'll post more pictures in my April Mobile Moments.

I loved the cute little suit I got Andrew.  He looked so handsome in it.
I had to use his (yellow) suspenders to keep up his pants though.
My SIL Julie has such talent.  She made her girls
matching outfits for the wedding.
They looked so cute!

Devin, the trusty videographer/photographer.
Doesn't my brother look great in his suit?
My niece is absolutely gorgeous too!
Sharon and her son.

I got a little choked up during the ceremony.  I was just so happy for my brother.  He looked so happy and this really is such a wonderful thing for him.  I'm so excited to have a new sister in law and hope to get to know her better.

AWWW!

They looks so great together!

This is my other SIL who is holding her last two kids (both under 2).
She has her hands full!  But I think she looks great!

Grandma and Grandpa with Kenzie.  I was excited to finally meet her!
Sad I couldn't hold her though.  Dang cough!

Loved this quote, and the pictures they had here with my Grandpa's
old car and shop!

What a beautiful cake!

These were scrumptious!  I wish I would have nabbed a few more.

I really loved Sharon's hair!  It was so beautiful!

It was so good to see a lot of my extended family too.
There were cousins, Aunts, and Uncles from both
sides of the family that I haven't seen for years!

My nieces fiancee spray painted the get away car.  Oh I was worried!
It was a peel of kind, but it still made us all a little anxious.

CAKE TIME!

They were so nice to each other.

These two have always been close.

All the blossoms were out in Utah.
Perfect timing for a wedding.

These three are all within 9 months of each other.
They had a blast playing together!

Spinning on the chair.

Their first glimpse at their car.

Peeling off the spray paint.

Taking apart all our hard work.  Since Gene has contributed to all
of our cars.  We made his something to remember!

Before we all left we took a few family pictures while we were all together.

Mom and Dad Baldwin

Grandma, Grandpa, Devin and his kids.  I loved getting to finally meet
Janey Bug!  She was just so sweet!

I'm so glad Briant finally got to go with me to see my family this
trip.  We counted it up and he had to meet 5 new nieces and nephews
on my side!
It was a great trip!  I can't wait for another trip back west! Next time maybe we'll make it up to Idaho!

March Mobile Moments

Yes, yes!  I know I'm late getting this up....  whatever, it happens.  Enjoy!
At a friends birthday part.  He is starting to make the
funniest faces these days!

He loved that pink frosting.

Another funny face at the Wonderlab's water table.

And another.

This place was a good place for father and son bonding.

I was so surprised Briant was this into it.

Church got cancelled, so we had a special FHE and read books....

....and made cinnamon rolls.

And played games..... Briant kicked my trash then
I returned the favor!

Duct tape boxes for the new little girl.

Another funny face.

"Look Mommy, I'm Mickey Mouse."

This was delicious!

Good times on the blow up toys.

Buddies

Kelley Kids friends.

He loves books on CD!

I think this was 30 weeks...

This is my friend who was pregnant and full term
at the time..... she doesn't even look it does she?
She was trying to jump start labor by swinging.

This is a few days later when she had her baby.  Andrew and her
son are really good buddies.

We had a great time trying out our new sit and stand with the boys.

During spring break we took a trip to Louisville, KY.
We had a great time during our tour of the Slugger museum.

Andrew loves his little bat they gave him.

Babe Ruth.

This place is called Mark's feed store.  I got ribs and they were
delicious!  Of course the person who brought them out thought they
were for Briant... that happens to me a lot.

Happy little drawing I made Andrew.

My boys had a great time swimming in the hotel pool.

And while they did that, I went to the temple.

We went to Cabela's.  Briant kept calling the fish shark.  In fact he
got just about every animal wrong in the store.  I think he called
a Polar Bear a Koala Bear.  We need to work on that with him I guess.

I think he called that one a whale.

I think this just clashes.  In fact I think the whole
store clashes with this guy.

After we got home, Andrew enjoyed playing in the dirt.

While I crocheted a flower.

I tried it on Andrew and he gave me a couple faces.

Our next trip was to St. Louis.  Its like 4 hours away.
Andrew did great on the trip.  He's been doing great with big boy
pants and I never once changed him into a pull up while we were in
the car.  Good job Andrew!

Here it is: The Gateway to the West.

We took a boat tour on the Mississippi.

I cute little tug boat.  I think they said it could push like 20 barges!  Wow!

The grand stair case in front of the arch.

Inside the arch.  So cool.

Straight down.

You can see so much!

Nothing below us.

There is the boat we rode on.

Cardinals stadium I think.

Its taller than the Space Needle!

You have to go up in this tiny little box.

We had Mexican that night.... Andrew liked the
salsa for a little bit.

Playing in the pool the next morning.

At the Zoo. He loved these little fishes.

Hippos!

Elephants... do you see the baby one?

They had a train at this zoo.  Andrew was not satisfied with being
there until he rode it.  It was always going by and he would
always notice and cry that he wanted to ride it. So we finally did.

He made friends quickly with the Chimpanzee's

Gorilla

Leopard

Lions

Crocodile... or alligator.... ?

another one

The great anaconda

Bert the Grizzly Bear.  He was a twin.  His brother Ernie died a while back.

He does tricks when they feed him.

Sea Lions

On our way back to our hotel we saw the St. Louis LDS temple!
Too bad we didn't have time to go.

Dinosaurs in Forest Park

There was this big science museum place.  I took this picture for FIL
but I'm not exactly sure why.

They had a big skywalk across the freeway with see
through holes in the floor.  Andrew could have stayed there all day.

This one is for FIL too.  It's alot like the one by where you work,
but his one is huge.... with loop-da-loops.

We heard good things about Ted Drew's Custard
so we had to try it.  It was SO good.  Briant
had some kind of Mint Chocolate with Macadamia Nuts,
I had a Lemon with Gram Cracker that was so awesome!

Leaving MO

Getting a much needed nap.

Got a new suit for Andrew, for my brothers wedding.

I think he looks pretty sharp!

Kelley Kids St. Patty's Day party.  So fun!

Briant always has a good time with the kids.
They love him.

Always a GH girl!  One of my only big shirts that fits
me right now.
We did get some better pictures of all the places we went to with our video camera.  I'll see if I can get some posted sometime.  Not making any promises though.  I feel like I got a lot to do before little miss comes along!
