CR 8 Months

Well look at who just turned 8 months old.

Time is going by quickly.  I know that I shouldn't compare... but who doesn't a little. Callie has learned each thing a little later than Andrew did. But, since Christmas I have watched Callie TAKE OFF! She learned how to do all kinds of things all at once it seems. Crawl, talk (babbling baba and mama), pull herself up on things.  Wow! I am really impressed and proud of her.  As I looked at pictures of Andrew today I realized she has pretty much caught up to what he was doing at this age.

Here is one of Andrew that never made it to the blog, for some odd reason....

I think that when she is going through one of these developmental, learning everything at once stages, she has some sleep regression issues.  In turn I feel pretty frustrated and like a crummy mom because I can't figure out what she needs. All she wants is to nurse, she never sleeps well, and we both cry a lot. I never had these kind of sleep issues with Andrew, so Callie is helping me become a more experienced, seasoned mom.  Thanks kido.
No problem, Mom.

For such a petite little girl, this girl has a pretty spunky personality. She is always wiggling and on the go. She likes to tell us "what for" already too.  But her smiles are incredible and we can't get enough of them.

Teeth?  Nope, none in sight!
Clothes:  6-12 Months & 9 Months-- But she is almost ready for 12 Month Clothes.
Eating: I've been trying to get her to eat food from the table more this week, and she humors me but she isn't totally in love with it after the first few bites. She hasn't ever devoured her food. She better be careful or she will loose her chunky rolls I am in love with. Actually it was funny, the other day we had mashed potatoes for dinner and Callie seemed to really like it!  She must be like me, they are my favorite food.
We will keep trying and she will get it. She dreams of eating this stuff though.
Mmmm, chocolate.

She is an excellent crawler now, and even likes to go exploring by herself.

She just started getting really good at pulling herself up on things and cruising this week.  She loves it.  She also likes to pull her self up on my pant legs while I'm making dinner.  She really loves her mama.

She is liking this toy too, and when Andrew will let her play with it, is getting a hang of pulling herself up and taking a few steps.
I can't believe how fast she is growing up!  Love  you baby girl!

December Mobile Moments

Yeah December is long gone....  but here are the pictures, anyway.
Crawling all over me.

Nativity is up.

My wallet is one of her favorite things to play with.
It helps her stay calm while I need her to sometimes.

I took this because I glimpsed down and saw
the little baby in Willow.

Can you see it? Maybe if her hair was a little more curly?

Crawling stance...

Grandmas's Favorite... And she is the only one in
my family to have seen her, so it must be true.

She wants to get it!

Merry-go-round!

Jeffery was at Toys R'us!

Yeah the tree is up!

Happy Christmasy dressed baby!

Pumpkin Pancakes... delicious!

She woke up late... right as we were going to bed and
wanted to party!

I forgot to put holes in the ornaments before I baked them
rock solid.  Power tools to the rescue!

Yeah, he's not allowed to play with my buttons ever again!

Blanket fun.

It was like he had never seen fish before.

Mmmm carrots.  Good thing she doesn't have teeth yet.

Andrew felt left out!

Our bishop was subing for Santa at the Ward
Christmas Party.

Painting ornaments.  Yes it got all over the table... but we had the best time together.

Sleepy baby, loves her daddy!

Even more love for daddy!

New magnets for the magnet nativity board.

Drumming on the fourth day of Christmas.

And God gave light.... that Andrew can't stop playing with!

She didn't want to play with the 5th day of Christmas.
Probably nap time or something.

He was having a real conversation with GG and Pop

Warming up to the 5th day of Christmas.

Apparently, you are suppose to change these out
like every couple months!

The furnace tech teaching Andrew guy... tool stuff!

A Pancakes.

Come crawl with me baby.

Good times with Arthur.
Good times with the Paris Family

8th day of Christmas!

Mommy was trying on glasses so Andrew
decided after he finished his donut that he
wanted to as well.

Happy baby!

What?

Fun preschool projects.  So cute!

This could have been a great picture.
Nobody was willing.

We learned a new word this day.... Anticipate.

Boy building our new desk.

While we went to see Santa at Chocolate world.

They did pretty good. No tears.  Andrew was really quiet but he at least told him what
he wanted.  Santa however, was less than thrilled to be there.

Baby's first time on Santa's lap!

Checking him out, but didn't freak out!  What!?!

Newly finished desk.

12th day of Christmas!

Put the old desk upstairs to put the keyboard on.
I got to play the piano anyway I can.

What are you doing baby? Your not old enough for that!

Merry Christmas!  He got everything he wanted.

This is going to be lots of fun!

Telling stories at lunch.

He seriously loves the Tale Tell game!

I put him on a stool to cut his hair and left to grab something.
When I came back I did a double take, cuz it looked like he
had grown 2 feet!

Sibling Fun

Baby's first Christmas!

A much needed walk in the warm weather.
Briant wanted to have some fun.

And little boy follows suit.

Aww.

We had to hurry and lower her crib, because she started sitting up.
And I knew she could pull her self up as soon as she was sitting.

Beautiful smile.

Love her always.

And now she sleeps on her stomach.  So uncomfortable in my opinion.

Good nap?

More treasures from Preschool.

Stop growing up girl!

New glasses.  Bad hair day.

New year eve... partying it up with the magazines... which were later moved.
