From Broken Trees to Weddings

Wow! What an eventful week! Wednesday Briant had to go to a Melalueca Convention in Salt Lake City. He had to be there the most of the week. It was really the first time we have been apart since we got married. We really missed being together everyday, but we both had plenty to keep us busy.
Thursday, I went to work like normal but when I returned one of our trees had broken in half! We had a lot of wind throughout the day and this particular tree was having some problems with bug infestation. Well apparently all those things don't agree very well with our tree and it broke with the pressure. This is what it looks like now. I think this tree will need a dose of a chain saw before our problem is fixed. A couple other trees in our yard are having the same bug problem and I'm afraid we might have to do the same to them in the near future. That night, my brother Devin, and his wife Julie, came from Utah to stay with me at our house for Mahon's wedding.
Friday, my brother Mahonri got married to a wonderful girl named Cindy,in the Rexburg, Idaho temple. This is the first time I got to go to a marriage in the temple (besides my own) and it was wonderful... except Briant couldn't be there with me. I was one of their bridesmaids along with four others. I think there were 9 flower girls. All the bridesmaids wore teal and the flower girls wore yellow dress, for a total of 14 dress, which were all maid by the bride and grooms mom's. Wow! What a site. Cindy look gorgeous in her dress, don't you think? Their reception was in the Gardens, which was very pretty, and it went very well. Their car got very well decorated thanks to most of the wedding party, except for me of course, if Mahon is inquiring, I had no part in it! Okay maybe a little. They are a beautiful couple and we are really happy for them.
Saturday, I had to work. But when I got off most of my family meet up at Rigby Lake and we spent a good part of the afternoon there. We ate, swam, built sand castles and mermaids (Chris), slept, played with the nieces, and rode in the canoe. We really had a good time together. Check out Kathy and Kyle's blog, I'm sure they have tons of pictures. I forgot my camera. Oops!
Sunday, Briant got back, YEAH! I got a new calling at church this week but you will just have to wait until I'm sustained to find out what it is.
