Chimney Sweeps

My parents have a wood burning stove which they use faithfully every winter. This means that you have to clean it regularly so that you don't get chimney fires. My dad has cleaned his own chimney since they bought it in 1976, and he has always had help whether it was my mom or one of my brothers. Well this time my dad asked Briant to come help and of coarse I couldn't be left behind, so I tagged along. I didn't get all that dirty, but Briant was pretty black from all the soot (just what he's always wanted). We had a pretty fun time at mom and dads, and one of the best parts about visiting, is they send you home with all kinds of goodies from their garden. Potatoes and Tomatoes are so much better when they are home grown!
