Grandpa & Grandma Visit

Well it's been a month since my parents visited us, but better late than ever. Right?

We had such a great week with them here.

Grandma had lots of fun reading to the kids,

and doing puzzles with Andrew,

giving "Grandma kisses",

and adoring her bran new grand baby.

We took a trip to Lancaster, more specifically, Intercourse, PA.  We visited Kitchen Kettle Village and had a great time scavenging for souvenirs for my siblings. For lunch we had pretzel dogs and lemon-aid.  We also enjoyed driving around and seeing the beautiful Amish Farms.  We got a ton of pictures of all the horses and buggys (not all of them very good).

Callie did pretty good in the car thanks to the rattle and my mom and I singing primary songs (she doesn't really fancy road trips while she is awake).

Grandma bought Callie her first teddy bear in KKV and Callie really loves it!  She just kept staring at it and trying to swat at it.  She still loves that bear.

Here are some pictures from KKV:

The day we went was Yummy's birthday,
so he was walking around and Andrew wanted to
go say hi.

We stopped by the Caboose Motel to see the Strasburg Rail Road go by.  Here are some fun pictures we got there.

That there is tobacco.

Some from home.  It's hard to get us all with a happy face.

Cutie!

One night we went out to Briant's parents place for dinner.  Mom loved all the trees.
...and fireflies.

I took Mom and Dad to Chocolate World in Hershey one morning.  First they boarded the Trolley to learn all about Hershey.
I stayed with Callie while Andrew had some one on one fun with Grandma and Grandpa.  He still talks about what they went to see by Hotel Hershey.

Then they rode on the tour ride in Chocolate World and saw where Briant proposed to me (or where it was before they remodeled).

Another day, I just drove around the area and got some pictures of all the things mom couldn't get pictures of on the trolley.
The bushes outside the factory that makes the kisses.

Welcome to Hershey sign, and the shirts they got at Chocolate World.

Hershey Cocoa Bushes, and the Hershey smoke stacks.

Then we went to play at Cocoa Castle.  Callie slept while Andrew and I played hide and seek...

...while Grandma and Grandpa watched and rested on the bench.

Andrew had a good time taking pictures of them with Grandma's camera.

He did pretty good.

Had to get one of them all together.

Welcome to Hershey on the hill.

We went swimming one day.  The pool was too cold for Dad, but he LOVED the hot tub!

My mom made me a salad one day.... it was DELICIOUS!

Got some good pictures of these too!

Got a good one of my honey.

There's the lip... it's time to hand her back to mommy.

She gives plenty of smiles for Grandma too.

My mom brought me my Aloe Vera plant!!  Yay!

Some more snuggles with Grandpa.

Had to get some pictures before they had to go.

Three Generations

Such a cutie.

They can't always be happy.

All the candy Grandma brought home. We had to borrow her a carry on.

With Grandpa

Saying goodbye before they caught a plane.
They were SO sad they had to go...

We all had so much fun!  We wish they lived closer!  Thanks for coming to see us Grandma and Grandpa!
