Well look at that! September ended three days ago! Crazy! I didn't even write any post last month. The month really got away from me! Don't worry you didn't miss out on much in our lives. Just school for Briant and playgroups and play dates for Andrew and I mostly. We did a few things on the side here and there, but not much really. Here are the pictures I took on my phone:
He plays on the playground now practically by himself.
When did grow up to be so big! |
| A great and safe place to sit while Mom unloads the groceries into the car. |
We tried it. He didn't really like the big boy swing.
But break through! He loves the (little kid) swing now!!!
He hated it all this year until now! He can't get
enough of it, and is asking for Under Dogs all the times too! |
| Big "silly slide". All. by. himself. |
| Blue eyes.... turning hazel? |
| Loving these lately! |
| A great place to hang out for a snack. Right before our pool party. |
Thanks to Julie, Anna, and Nick, Andrew loves yogurt now. It's
like a daily thing! |
| After three years.... I finally got me some boots! |
| All in good time. One of my favorite self pep talks. |
| Loves to play cars on the dishwasher while I'm doing dishes. |
| Walking backwards with Daddy. |
We love our kindle. It's got tons of free apps you can get, and
Andrew loves doing the free puzzles. |
| Bowling with KPC. |
| Andrew really got a lot out of this trip to the bowling lane. |
| And Briant joined us too! |
Big boy can carry the ball all by himself.
Proud mommy moment. |
| I won! |
| Hiding under his crib. "Where's Andrew?" |
The stool he is on belonged to my grandma. I loved
it as a kid, and it so cute that Andrew loves it so much too! |
We took a big step this month! He has done great! He is totally
fine with them being broken. Never cried once that he couldn't
put them in his mouth anymore. Way to go bud! |
| Loves looking at the puppies. Maybe when we have a house bud! |
Did I mention that he can get on the counter by himself
now? He thinks it's funny. Has done it a couple times. |
Andrew and his friend from playgroup at the
Apple Orchard. |
| Great fun at the Apple Orchard picking our own apples! |
| A yummy Culver's treat afterwords. Deep fried cheese curds. |
| I introduced Andrew to play dough finally. He loves it! |
| He loves putting stickers on his nose. |
He insists on turning off his own light. In fact,
he insists on doing many things by himself these days.
Getting in his car seat, shutting doors, eating, brushing his teeth.
Everything but getting dressed! |
We drove up to Indy for the day and had a great time in town walking around.
This was by the canel walk. |
| Capital building. On our way downtown. |
| One of the quietest, cleanest capitals I've ever seen. It was nice! |
As you can see our September was pretty uneventful. I didn't even take that many pictures. Oh well, we got more fun planned this month!
A few things I want to remember about Andrew and share with my family:
Andrew can sing! He can sing the ABC's in English all by himself! He also sings John Jacob Jingle Hiber Smight, and Slippery Fish.
He is asking to go potty on the potty more often and gets excited when he does.
He is saying all kinds of cute things straight from his own thoughts these days.
He loves to help with dishes. Mostly just loves pouring water to and from different containers.
He loves to get his back scratched. He'll lift up his shirt and ask us almost everyday!
Asks what everything is.
Is starting to do some imaginative play when I'm not looking.... he sends his bear to time out and asks Mickey Mouse if he is okay. So cute!
He tells me all the time that he is a cute boy... I guess he hears it from me a lot!
He is starting to negotiate.
